Privacy
Aperture is a product of John Weng Consulting LLC. This page explains what we collect when you sign up on aperturedeck.com and what we do with it. It is intentionally short.
Who controls your data
John Weng Consulting LLC is the data controller. For any data request, write to hello@aperturedeck.com.
What we collect
- The email address you submit on the signup form.
- The date and time you submitted it.
- A one-way hash of your IP address (we never store your raw IP). Used to detect abuse only.
- Your browser’s user-agent string. Used to detect abuse only.
Why we collect it
To contact you about Aperture — specifically about research participation, beta testing, and product updates. That’s the entire purpose. We don’t use your email for anything else.
Who we share it with
No one. We don’t sell, rent, trade, or share your email. We don’t use third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or analytics on this site. The only system that sees your email is the database that stores it on our hosting account.
How long we keep it
Until Aperture launches publicly and the coming-soon list is migrated, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Email hello@aperturedeck.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts.
